2 .What this Privacy Policy covers

This Policy applies to your use of our Site and our Services. It does not extend to any websites that are linked to from our Site (whether we provide those links or whether they are shared by other users). 3. The types of personal data we process

Some data will be collected automatically by our Site (for further details, please see section 10 on our use of Cookies). Other data will only be collected if you voluntarily submit it and consent to StarfieldConnects Ltd. using it for the purposes set out in section 4, for example, when making a booking or signing up for our mailing list. For example, we may record your First Name (as it appears on passport), Last Name (as it appears on passport), Student No., AGE (at the time of travel), Birth Date, School name, Campus name, Telephone number, email address, street address, passport number, VISA number, medical insurance policy number,
  • Your contact details, such as your email address and telephone number.
  • Demographic information such as zip code, preferences and interests;
  • Information you choose to give us, such as your study abroad programme and city;
  • Information about your bookings with StarfieldConnects Ltd.. This information may include details about your trip, prices and the date of your booking. In addition, we may process information in relation to ancillary services and bookings through third-parties. We may also process details of travel arrangements you give us.
  • Our communications with you.
  • Cookies and similar technologies. When you use our website, we may automatically collect your IP address, web browser type and version and your operating system. We may also automatically collect a list of URLs starting with a referring Site, your activity on our Site, and the Site you exit to.
  • Financial information such as credit / debit card numbers via our Payment Service Provider (if you book a tour with StarfieldConnects Ltd.).

4. How we use your data

  • All personal data is stored securely in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) (GDPR). For more details on security see section 6, below.
  • We use your data to provide the best possible products and services to you. This may include:
    • Personalising and tailoring your experience on our Site;
    • Supplying our products and services to you;
    • Personalising and tailoring our products and services for you;
    • Personalising our marketing to you, such as via retargeting through Facebook Advertising and Google AdWords once you leave our Site;

5. How and where we store your data

  • We only keep your data for as long as we need to in order to use it as described above in section 4, and/or for as long as we have your permission to keep it. Your data will be deleted if we no longer need it in accordance with the terms of our Data Retention Policy:
  • We will retain customer information for as long as your account is active or as long as needed to provide you with our Services. We may also retain and use your information in order to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce our Agreements.

  • You may access certain areas of our Site without providing any data at all. However, to use certain features and functions available on our Site or to book a tour with StarfieldConnects Ltd. you will be required to submit or allow for the collection of certain data.

  • You may withdraw your consent for us to use your personal data as set out in section 3 at any time by contacting us using the details set out in section 12, and we will delete Your data from our systems. However, you acknowledge this may limit our ability to provide the best possible products and services to you.

You have the legal right to ask for a copy of any of your personal data held by us (where such data is held). Please contact us for more details at info@starfield.ca, or using the contact details below in section 12. You can also request that we delete your data, which we will do within one month.

  • Technologies such as: cookies, beacons, tags and scripts are used by StarfieldConnects Ltd.. These technologies may be used in analyzing trends, administering the Site, tracking your movements around the Site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole.
